FAIR AND OPEN PROVISIONS AND RELATED REQUIREMENTS
This lesson covers:
- Fair and open terms of gambling
- Fair and open marketing requirements
- Fair and open display of rules – do’s and don’ts
- Fair registration processes for new customers
- Fair complaints and dispute procedures
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the presenter and each other, to share their thoughts or prior experiences as they relate to what is covered in the lesson.
A test of knowledge gained during the lesson is also available should the client wish to have this.
Following this lesson, you will be able to:
- Understand what measures must be taken to ensure your services are offered with fair terms
- Co-operate with your IT team to ensure all information relating to gambling on your website is fair and open
- Co-operate with your marketing and IT teams to ensure that all marketing is compliant
- Ensure that your complaints procedure, whether new or existing, is compliant and fair
RESPONSIBLE GAMING MEASURES
This lesson covers:
- Protection of children and vulnerable persons
- Display of Responsible Gaming Information
- Customer interaction procedures
- Self-exclusion options, including standards and record keeping
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the presenter and each other, to share their thoughts or prior experiences as they relate to what is covered in the lesson.
A test of knowledge gained during the lesson is also available should the client wish to have this.
Following this lesson, you will able to:
- State which measures must be taken to protect children and vulnerable persons from gambling-related harm
- Describe Responsible Gaming information to appear on your website and co-operate with IT team to see this done
- Understand what measures your customer interaction procedures must include and plan drafts or updates of these
- Co-operate with IT team members to instate compliant self-exclusion measures
- Understand which training must be given in these areas, and make plans for staff to receive this
REPORTING REQUIREMENTS AND OTHER LICENSE CONDITIONS
This lesson covers:
- Reporting requirements relating to complaints, group companies, and suspicious betting
- Requirement to submit general and regulatory returns
- Customers with multiple accounts
- Sports betting and understanding sports’ rules
Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the presenter and each other, to share their thoughts or prior experiences as they relate to what is covered in the lesson.
A test of knowledge gained during the lesson is also available should the client wish to have this.
Following this lesson, you will be able to:
- Have confidence that you understand all your reporting requirements as a compliance department
- State which information should be included in returns and know your deadlines
- Understand the requirements if you allow customers to hold multiple accounts with you
- Co-operate with other members of management, including the IT manager, to request all the information you require to complete these requirements effectively.
